South Africa Schools & Safari
The professional development experiential trip scheduled for 2020 has been rescheduled for July 2021. In addition to a five day safari at a game reserve that emphasizes conservation and community, the experience includes on-site support at Zululand schools and resilience education in Cape Town. Activities are structured to engage each person. Several participants are attending as family members across two or three generations.

Good news! This pandemic pivot means that registration is reopened. You now have an opportunity to join the 20 extraordinary worldmakers already registered for this adventure of a lifetime! For more details, email info@worldmakerinternational.org.

Our Big WHY: Community Resilience Building! Through our partnership with the nonprofit Africa Foundation, you can choose to spend your days working with the teachers and students at nearby local schools, including preschool, primary, secondary and special needs. Additional opportunities provided to support the Foundation’s community resilience work. This time learning from people in local communities and contributing your expertise to a dedicated nonprofit serving the under privileged rural communities of Zululand certainly will be a trip highlight.

Our service time is intentionally scheduled between daily game drives so you also can fully experience the awe of the sacred African land at the award winning Phinda Reserve. The ethos of Phinda: Care of the land. Care of the wildlife. Care of the people. Our visit includes both morning and evening safaris. The remaining free time allows you to connect with yourself, with nature, and with your amazing travel mates.
